Maintaining the exterior of a retail plaza is about more than appearance—it's about protecting the building and creating a welcoming environment for customers and future tenants. We recently completed an exterior painting project at 324 Elmira Road in Ithaca, New York, refreshing the storefront façade by painting the EIFS, architectural cornices, coping, and sign raceways.

This project covered the entire front elevation of the shopping center, including the side of the vacant tenant space and a portion of the neighboring nail salon. Years of exposure to sun, rain, and changing temperatures had left the exterior looking tired and inconsistent. Our goal was to restore a clean, uniform appearance while protecting the building's exterior finishes from continued weathering.

EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) requires coatings that are both durable and flexible. Using premium commercial exterior coatings, we refreshed the textured EIFS surfaces while also painting the metal coping, decorative cornices, and sign raceways to match. Coordinating these architectural elements gives the building a consistent, professional appearance that helps attract tenants and enhances curb appeal.
